Overview
Jason A. Fisher, MD, is an attending physician at Montefiore Einstein and Assistant Professor, Radiology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Fisher’s clinical expertise includes a range of vascular interventions, including genicular embolization for osteoarthritis of the knee, ablation and embolization for thyroid nodules/goiter, treatment for pulmonary and systemic arteriovenous malformation (AVM), venous malformations, visceral aneurysms, liver cancer, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).After receiving his Bachelor of Science in physics from St. John Fisher University in 2012, Dr. Fisher earned his Master of Science in biomedical science from Boston University School of Medicine in 2014. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine at St. George University School of Medicine in 2018. He completed his general surgery internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2019, followed by his diagnostic radiology residency in early specialization in interventional radiology at Hartford Hospital in 2023. Following this, Dr. Fisher completed a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at New York University in 2024.
