Overview
I started my training with the intention of specializing in Neurosurgery. During that time, I met a friend who was a pain doctor at the Cleveland Clinic. I spent a month training with him, and I loved it. I admired how he relentlessly tried to understand people's pain and work to decrease and control it. I realized that all medical fields begin by attempting to treat some form of pain. That's when I decided to specialize in pain management and treat patients in an office setting, combating the culprit of all suffering. I focus on treating patients with head pain, abdominal pain, pelvic pain, and mainly axial and back pain. My approach is generally multimodal, intervention-oriented, and non-opioid based. I strive to minimize the use of opioid medications, preferring evidence-based procedures to help patients achieve full functionality and keep their pain under control as much as possible.
