I had minor health conditions in pregnancy and my husband was deployed. I have a much-improved insight into perinatal mental health and completed my training for that certification during that time. I have regularly worked with perinatal mood disorders comorbid substance use since 2016 and it holds a deep place in my heart to provide services to this population.
