Overview
Dr. Jennifer Vuong is a board-certified pediatrician who joined FLP in 2024. She was raised in San Antonio, TX where she completed her undergraduate education at the University of the Incarnate Word. There, she graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then received her medical school education and pediatrics residency training at the University of Texas at Houston/Texas Medical Center. Afterwards, she was then selected to become Pediatrics Chief Resident for the institution, where she was heavily involved in teaching other residents while working as a newborn hospitalist and primary care pediatrician. She then spent a short amount of time in Miami, FL where she continued her work as an outpatient pediatrician while her husband finished his medical training as well. Dr. Vuong has a passion for caring for children and educating families on their own healthcare. She believes that the most effective form of healthcare is one where parents and physicians work as a team to make the best decisions for each individual child. As a mother herself, she understands the realistic difficulties of caring for children and is dedicated to providing quality care that is both comprehensive and compassionate. Dr. Vuong loves interacting with her patients and strives to make each visit as fun, comforting, and easy as possible. The long-lasting relationships she gets to build with her patients and their families is what she cherishes the most about her work.
