Overview
I am a general adult psychiatrist with a wide range of interests within the field. Much of my training was focused on developing skills within psychotherapy. I value this background as I believe that quality care begins with listening closely to the patient's story. I am best equipped to help patients get better when my listening is combined with giving evidence-based treatment. I have previously worked closely with patients in the oncology and palliative care settings. I’ve also worked with those struggling to cope with chronic medical illnesses. More recently, I’ve been working to close the health disparity gap for patients within the LGBTQ community and have completed additional training to provide competent care for this population.
