She’s a content contributor and editor for Pediatrics Board Review, working on both the core and MOCA-Peds study guides. During her training, Dr. Thompson was featured on CBS Miami and FIU News for her volunteer work as “Dr. Spider-Man,” providing bedside “consults” to uplift patients in the oncology and pediatric intensive care units. After the fellowship, she remained at NCH for an additional two years as Director of Adolescent Medicine Education. Dr. Thompson’s academic work includes multiple research and narrative medicine publications, as well as presentations at national conferences, including the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, and working at St. Luke’s International Hospital in Tokyo, Japan, during her training.She’s fluent in Japanese.
