Jennika Finup, NP, is a UW Health Kids pediatric urology nurse practitioner. Jennika cares for children with recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), bowel and bladder dysfunction, and abnormal bladder due to a neurologic condition. Jennika also supports surgical care for children with kidney, bladder, penile and testicular issues.Jennika always involves the patient and their family in developing a plan of care. She places importance on the family and patient understanding and being comfortable with the treatment plan.She sees some of her patients for years or even decades — from infancy through young adulthood. Jennika enjoys being able to develop long-term relationships with her patients and seeing them improve over time. She values knowing that she made a positive difference in their quality of life.Jennika has special interests in bowel and bladder dysfunction as well as urologic conditions that develop before birth.
