Born in a beautiful island Formosa, AKA Taiwan. I was one of the 4 children of a physician family. I learned about patient care in my late-father's clinic early in my life.Arriving NY in 1979, I started to learn American culture and language in graduate school and attending church. I did my pediatric residency in Brooklyn, NY. I completed neonatology fellowship training in 1986 in Children Hospital National Medical Center, DC. Moving on, I returned to NJ and became one of the faculty in UMDNJ. I was there for 2 years as a junior attending. Relocating to CA in 1988, I became a private practitioner as an attending neonatologist and covered a pediatric practice ran by Dr Roger Takla for 20 years in Long Beach.Currently, I am one of the 4 pediatricians in Pan and Hsu pediatrics and enjoy my work tremendously.We are a group of female pediatricians. We help parents to raise healthy kids physically and emotionally. I personally was trained as a neonatologist. I had worked in NICU for 20 years. Now, practicing as a General Pediatrician, my strength is to continue the complicated care after newborns leaving NICU. My philosophy is helping young kids to grow in a healthy way by encouraging parents to set up good examples in their life style.
