My nursing background is in critical care and ICU. I began my healthcare journey as a CNA and critical care tech for almost 10 years and became an RN in 2020. I started my nursing career in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic, caring for critically ill patients. Shortly after graduating, I spent three years as a travel nurse across the U.S., working in COVID ICUs and cross-trained in multiple specialty units. Witnessing patient outcomes in the ICU inspired me to pursue further education as a nurse practitioner, with a focus on preventative care and patient education to help patients intervene early and improve long-term health. When I am not at work, life revolves around my husband, daughter, and our two huskies. Our days are filled with laughter, backyard adventures, and constant walks that turn into runs because of the huskies. Though our travel adventures have slowed since becoming parents, we have found joy in the little moments: exploring the outdoors together, sharing meals, and making memories that turn ordinary days into something special.
