Overview
I have enjoyed working in hematology and oncology for my entire career. I have experience in clinical research, inpatient oncology, and community oncology. It is wonderful to see the advancements in effective cancer treatment, including immunotherapy and targeted therapy. It is very rewarding to provide support and guidance through an unknown and scary diagnosis. I believe cancer patients deserve someone caring who will take the time to listen and explain their diagnosis and treatment. I know that a cancer diagnosis often feels like the loss of a person's independence but I hope that my patients can depend on me, and the rest of my team, to use the most effective and up-to-date medicine to treat their disease. In my spare time, I love to spend time outdoors with my three children, husband, and Buster the dog. I also enjoy running and going to the gym.
