Jessica Carney, DO, is a pediatric hospitalist specializing in treating children throughout the hospital, including the pediatric acute care areas, the emergency department, labor and delivery, the neonatal unit and pediatric intensive care units.|Interested in graduate medical education, Dr. Carney volunteers her time as a “mock code assistant” to facilitate medical training simulations for future pediatricians in residency.|Dr. Carney is board certified and holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Masters of Biomedical Science with a concentration in Anatomy from University of South Florida.|She grew up in a military family and has lived all over the country and the world. “I moved to Pennsylvania as Geisinger offered me my ideal job in a great place to raise a family,” she says.
