Overview
I was raised on a farm in rural North Carolina and learned about compassion and caring for animals at a young age. As I grew older this sentimentality carried over and manifested in the way I conducted myself around other people. My upbringing spurred an early love for family medicine, perfectly blending my love of biology with my desire to build relationships and serve the people in my community. I am excited to be joining DPC Blue Ridge where I will be seeing children and adults of all ages, providing excellent evidence-based medical care. I want my patients to feel cared for and comforted after every visit knowing that I have given them my full-attention and listened to every question and concern. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband (who is also a Family Medicine physician) and our two dogs. I love reading, exercising, hiking, and trying out new restaurants in our great city!
