Jesse Doty, MD graduated in 2003 from Carson-Newman University. He completed medical school at Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, graduating with honors in 2007 and was voted into the AOA Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga, in 2012. In 2013, he participated in a one-year foot and ankle fellowship with renown surgeon Dr. Michael Coughlin at Saint Alphonsus Foot and Ankle Clinic in Boise, Idaho. After fellowship, Dr. Doty spent time in Los Angeles at Southern California Orthopaedic Institute with Dr. Richard Ferkel to gain additional insight into sports related injuries. His surgical interests include arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, chronic deformities, and ankle replacement. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and chapters and has served as teaching faculty at several courses. He is currently serving as Principle Investigator for multiple ongoing pivotal orthopedic trials including ankle replacement and minimally invasive surgery. He has recently been hosted as an international guest lecturer in Canada, France, India, and Australia. He currently serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Doty is highly rated in 16 conditions, according to our data.
