Emma Mohr, MD, PhD, is a pediatric infectious disease doctor and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Division of Infectious Diseases. She provides care for children with complex infections, particularly those affecting the bones, brain and stomach. Dr. Mohr has specialized expertise in diagnosing and treating congenital infections (those present at birth) like Zika virus and cytomegalovirus (CMV).Dr. Mohr approaches care in a collaborative way — ensuring that her patients and their families feel heard and that she’s working together with them to develop a care plan that’s best for everyone.
