I wanted to be part of serving in this capacity, specifically in acute care, dealing with emergencies and urgent need both in my community and abroad. | Community involvement | I am involved in community emergency medical services, youth soccer, and youth ministry at my church. I have participated in medical missions and worked in a free clinic prior to going to medical school. | Personal interests | I have broad interests beyond medicine, including amateur photography, music and coaching soccer.
