Dr. Lackey is fellowship-trained in the latest Hand and Upper Extremity care advances. He has clinical expertise in the routine and complex care of the hand, upper extremity, and peripheral nerves. He is interested in peripheral nerve repair, nerve transfers, wrist arthroscopy, hand trauma in adults and children, congenital hand differences, and wide-awake surgery. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at national Orthopedic and Hand Surgery conferences. Dr. Lackey has participated in international mission work, providing orthopaedic and hand surgery care abroad in the Dominican Republic.

As a Texas native, Dr. Lackey is pleased to serve the Austin, Texas, community. He is an avid hiker and rock climber and can frequently be seen on the trails surrounding Austin with his wife and dog. As a Texas Ex, Dr. Lackey is a die-hard Texas Longhorns sports fan.
