Overview
Joshua Matthews is a certified physician assistant and athletic trainer. He is clinically trained in a variety of areas, including orthopedic and general surgery, wound care and emergency medicine. Joshua previously served as an athletic trainer within an orthopedic practice before returning to the classroom to pursue his PA degree. He is especially passionate about providing quality care with the goal of improving patient mobility and overall health. Joshua graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He also holds a master’s degree in exercise science from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Joshua is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
