Since 2020, he has been an assistant professor of clinical orthopedics at the University of Missouri in Springfield teaching orthopedic surgical residents and orthopedic traumatology fellows at a busy Level 1 trauma center. He is also an advanced trauma life support instructor. His volunteer work includes mentoring medical and pre-med students. His professional memberships include the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma North America, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, running, hiking and traveling.
