Julia Loewenthal, MD is a geriatrician at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.Prior to training in the Harvard Multi-Campus Geriatrics Fellowship, she graduated from University of Virginia and completed residency in Internal Medicine/Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In 2021 Dr. Loewenthal was selected for the Harvard Macy Program for Educators in the Health Professions course and the AGS/ADGAP Tideswell Emerging Leaders in Aging program.She has a strong interest in healthy aging, creating a geriatric integrative medicine program at the BWH Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. Scholarly interests include medical education, healthy aging, yoga, and physician well-being.
