My practice within ophthalmology focuses primarily on cataract surgery, glaucoma management and screening for retinal disease. My approach is heavily patient-centered, and my job is to make sure the patient has a clear understanding of their disease and treatment options. I find cataract surgery especially gratifying since it begins with getting to know my patients to better understand their particular lifestyle needs. After a discussion of goals, we can together select a lens implant they will find most satisfying.
