Overview
Since nursing school, my passion has been in working with the adult-geriatric population – partnering with patients to make healthy lifestyle choices as they go through the challenges of their medical conditions. I have been an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse for more than 16 years. I decided to become a nurse practitioner so I could be involved in patient care through a different role, nurturing relationships built on shared decision-making and open communication. I enjoy working with patients to develop an evidence-based plan of care that will help them achieve a good quality of life.
