My father had heart surgery at Methodist when I was in junior high. I have wanted to work in cardiology ever since then. I love cardiac and thoracic surgeries and working with the patient population. I specialize in coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement and aneurysm repairs. I enjoy the postoperative management of surgical patients and helping them feel comfortable. Education is so important, and I strive to help patients understand their condition, surgical procedure, medications and postoperative instructions. My philosophy is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care and to always do what is right for my patients. I treat colleagues and patients with the utmost respect.
