Overview
I am a family physician – meaning I am a doctor for people of all ages and stages of life. I am a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), which is similar to a medical doctor (MD), except that I am also trained in osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) – a hands-on way to ease pain and promote healing. This is especially useful for musculoskeletal pain, pregnancy, headaches, anxiety, colds, lactation challenges, among other issues. I take care of pregnant people, postpartum people, newborns, and have experience with the 4th trimester and all the unique challenges it can bring. I love family medicine because I get to form relationships with people and take care of entire families. We learn to understand one another’s style and work together to make realistic, healthy changes.
