Kathleen Goff, MSN, APRN-BC, is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with the Cancer Genetics and High Risk Care Center at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She manages patients for the genetics-focused team including clinical evaluation, developing and following through on a treatment plan, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and educating patients on their risk factors and treatment plan. An Increased Risk of Cancer: Next StepsIf patients learn they are at an increased risk for cancer, Kathleen will work with them one-on-one to develop a proactive plan for managing their medical risk and long-term health. Medical management options include recommendations regarding immunizations and lifestyle such as smoking, nutrition, physical activity and nutritional supplements.
