Overview
Kathleen is passionate about providing primary care across the lifespan. She comes to Michigan Medicine with experience as a cardiac and float pool nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She previously practiced as a nurse practitioner in internal medicine and hospice in Traverse City and Ann Arbor. She is a sports/outdoor enthusiast and enjoys running, crossfit/resistance training, mountain biking, and competitive cross-country ski racing. She is a mother of a young child and also enjoys spending time with her family in the UP’s great outdoors, reading, taking saunas, and traveling. Much of her career has been shaped by inspiration from her mother, Professor Emerita of Nursing, a modern day Florence Nightingale, after having the opportunity to travel together on several medical mission trips across the globe with other healthcare professionals.
