Overview
Dr. Imgrund spearheads our advanced gynecologic surgery program for our Columbia and Lowcountry centers while also coordinating care for patients presenting with all types of fertility challenges.
Originally from Waco, TX, she became a South Carolina Gamecock for life through her undergraduate and medical school studies at USC, where she met her husband, Alex, an attorney currently practicing in Columbia. She completed her residency training in OB/GYN at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas prior to returning to South Carolina where she has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Columbia for the past 8 years.
During her time in Columbia she has managed all levels of obstetric and gynecologic care, including basic infertility evaluation and treatment, and developed a high-volume minimally invasive gynecologic surgical practice, with a special interest in robotic surgery for fibroids and endometriosis. We’re excited to be able to offer Dr. Imgrund’s skills and experience to patients presenting for care at PREG where she looks forward to honing her focus on all aspects of infertility care, guided by our exceptional team of reproductive endocrinologists.
When not in the operating room, you can find Dr. Imgrund in the baseball field bleachers cheering for her son or the ballet auditorium supporting her daughter. She and her family love the outdoors and the South Carolina beaches and, while her son is an avid Clemson fan, Dr. Imgrund will always yell, “Go Cocks!”.
