"I have worked in pediatric health care my entire career and most of it has been at Children's Minnesota. I most recently worked in the emergency department and will be transitioning to urgent care. I have always enjoyed working with children because I love the challenges of each age. I think what I enjoy most about working with children is you don't just have one person you are treating – if there are obstacles, you have so many more people on their ""team"" to help you, whether that’s parents, grandparents, guardians, siblings or friends. I love a holistic approach to care, and I believe medicine is just as important as nonmedicinal treatments. I love when families share their home or cultural treatments for illness and, if appropriate, I incorporate them into their child's treatment plan.".
