Dr. Kathryn S. Moffett

Anita McElroy, MD, PhD, is a pediatric infectious disease physician at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is also an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. McElroy earned her medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and her doctorate from the University of California. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in emerging viruses at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and a residency and fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Disease respectively, at Emory University. Dr. McElroy’s lab focuses on the study of emerging viruses, specifically, the mechanisms by which hemorrhagic fever viruses cause disease. Bryan H. Goldstein MD, FACC, FSCAI is a pediatric interventional cardiologist and is certified in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Goldstein has published numerous scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, is a frequent faculty member and presenter at national and international meetings, and is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions (FSCAI).
