She graduated from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree in biology before going on to earn her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While at UT Southwestern, Holley was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship.
