Kelly Gonzales initially thought business and finance would be her calling after she earned her BBA in finance while studying at The University of Texas at Austin. She later realized she could better serve others in a health care capacity. She returned to the classroom and earned her physician assistant certification in 2000. Kelly then spent nearly 20 years with a family, internal and sports medicine clinic in the Colleyville, Texas area before taking on a special project for Texas Health Resources. In 2022, she became involved in the launch of an innovative virtual care platform for the THR system in addition to providing patient care.Kelly holds a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
