Being self-motivated with a consistent work ethic and the ability to make a sustainable affiliation with patients and their families is of utmost importance to me. | Why I entered medicine | Medicine has always been a passion of mine. Growing up, I saw various health care providers and noticed how they valued patient education and patient comfort. This is something that has become important to me. | Community involvement | Since high school I’ve been an active member of my community. I have volunteered at my church over 10 years, helping with a yearly bazaar and holiday food drives. I also mow lawns and grocery shop for the elderly in my area. | Personal interests | Aside from the medical field, I am passionate about animals and music. I took guitar lessons throughout high school and played during college. I am also an animal lover and have cats and dogs. I have helped my family raise pet goats for 20 years.
