Dr. Kevin J. Baldovich

Dr. Kevin Baldovich is a primary care physician board certified in family and preventive medicine. He joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2005. Before joining Inova, Dr. Baldovich held numerous leadership roles in military medicine including Vice Chair of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at the Uniformed Services University and Chief of Preventive Medicine at the United States Air Force Academy. As a flight surgeon, he supported operational missions worldwide, including deployments to Afghanistan, where he led aeromedical evacuation efforts. Dr. Baldovich brings extensive experience in primary care, preventive services and population health and is deeply committed to fostering long-term relationships with his patients and their families. He enjoys working with patients across all stages of life, from young adults to seniors, and takes pride in understanding the unique needs of each within the broader context of their family, lifestyle and personal health goals. He believes that by appreciating the full picture of a patient's life – including their daily habits, support systems and long-term aspirations – he can better guide them toward sustainable, proactive health decisions. Dr. Baldovich's approach to patient care focuses on helping individuals take charge of their health by making healthy choices more accessible. He understands that healthcare decisions can be complicated, with barriers like logistics, finances and behavior affecting wellbeing. His goal is to offer clear, evidence-based advice to help patients overcome these challenges. He believes that prevention is key to long-term health and collaborates with patients to create personalized strategies for wellness, disease prevention and improving their quality of life. Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Baldovich enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and engaging in outdoor activities.
