Kimberly Cesario, NP

A caregiver in general orthopedics and sports medicine since 2005, Kimberly Cesario was inspired to make a positive difference in people’s lives. She sees patients ages 12 months and up at Saint Joseph Medical Group – Orthopedics.Cesario received undergraduate and graduate education from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to being an advanced practice registered nurse, she holds board certifications as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner and is a certified wound specialist.Her approach to care involves actively listening, being kind and considerate with interactions and showing positivity and encouragement. In demonstrating humankindness, she practices empathy, compassion, positivity and encouragement.Cesario said she chose to specialize in orthopedics “due to the diverse patient population, wide range of procedures performed, hands-on approach to care and the ability to restore function and quality of life for individuals.” Reflecting that, she said her favorite part of the job is the ability to make a difference in people's lives by helping them to regain function and improve their quality of life.Her personal interests and hobbies include physical fitness training, walking, hiking, lake activities and going to sporting events with her family.

Her top area of expertise is Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
