Philosophy of care | Going to college and graduate school in San Francisco provided me experience working with individuals of many cultures, ethnicities, identities and socioeconomic backgrounds. I believe in empowering you as my patient to make educated and informed decisions about your own care, and in ensuring you feel as involved as possible with your own health. I am also a firm believer in preventive care and enjoy creating care plans to help my patients lead healthy lifestyles that promotes disease prevention. | Why I entered medicine | I entered the health field because it has always been important for me to give back to my community. I went into nursing with the goal of working in women’s health because I have always been amazed at the capabilities of the female body. While I have loved my experience in labor and delivery, I knew I wanted to care for women throughout their lifespan and with every aspect of their health. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending my free time hiking, reading, baking, traveling and hanging out with my husband and our puppy.
