Overview
As a pediatrician, I love supporting families as their children grow on the path to good health, especially if they are living with a chronic condition such as asthma, diabetes, or autism. It is important to listen deeply in order to understand what it is that families really need. I speak Spanish and find joy in supporting families of all backgrounds and abilities. Before joining Duke Primary Care, I spent many years teaching residents. I also worked as a consultant for young adults transitioning out of the pediatric health care system. When not in the office, you might find me gardening, exploring a new hiking trail with my family, or singing in the church choir.
