Overview
I chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because I enjoy working with women of all ages, from the teenage to the postmenopausal years. I enjoy all aspects of my specialty, from annual exams to prenatal care, general gynecologic care and surgery. My specific interests include prenatal care, birth control counseling and management (including IUD insertion and Nexplanon), infertility evaluation, treatment of abnormal Pap smears and abnormal uterine bleeding and minimally invasive surgery. Common procedures that I perform include colposcopy, LEEP, tubal ligation, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and hysterectomy (laparoscopic and open). I strive to support every mother in her ideal childbirth experience with the ultimate goal of a healthy mom and healthy baby. I know that open communication between patients and their treatment team is essential to good patient care. I truly enjoy following women through preconception counseling, pregnancy and beyond.
