He completed his residency in Family Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Linares completed his fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. During his fellowship he became well versed in taking care of a wide range of sports injuries from adolescent to professional athletes as he was involved with the medical care of local surrounding high schools, colleges, the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and has a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. Dr. Linares is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
