Laura Kueny, MD, is a dedicated pediatric ophthalmologist with an academic and professional track record that spans over a decade. A Virginia native, she received both her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and her Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University. Driven by a deep-seated commitment to extend her services to underprivileged communities, Dr. Kueny founded Little Eyes International in 2021. This non-profit organization aims to provide pediatric eye care to underserved areas, with a particular focus on Sonora, Mexico. Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Kueny has a passion for fitness and is a certified yoga instructor. She cherishes the great outdoors and frequently spends her free time in nature.
