Dr. Laura Wright-Sexton is a board-certified pediatric critical care physician with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Dr. Wright-Sexton completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. About Dr. Wright-Sexton Dr. Wright-Sexton is board certified in general pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Wright-Sexton has served as principal investigator or co-investigator on multiple research projects related to pediatric intensive care units. She has presented at professional conferences, and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals. Her volunteer outreach includes annual trips to the island of Grenada, where she and her husband lead a medical team to provide free healthcare and medication. She also is the founder of Coco’s Lighthouse, which provides animal rescue, free spay and neuter clinics and adoption services for canines along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Outside of work, Dr. Wright-Sexton enjoys spending time with her three children and four dogs. She also likes running and going to the theater and the beach. She She is fluent in English and French.
