Dr. Lauren Adler is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician with Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute and Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute. She works with patients to recover from functional limitations caused by: Traumatic brain injury (concussion) Stroke Spinal cord injury Nerve damage Musculoskeletal injury Joint pain Spasticity Dr. Adler believes that understanding her patients’ social, mental and physical well-being enables her to provide the best possible care. Her goal is to design a personalized rehabilitation plan for each patient that promotes functional recovery. Dr. Adler’s Training She received her bachelor’s degree in human biology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, graduating with honors. Dr. Adler earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from Michigan State’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, and served as chief resident in her final year. About Dr. Adler She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Osteopathic Association and Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Osteopathic Service Fraternity. Outside of work, Dr. Adler enjoys golf, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
