Philosophy of care | To treat every patient and family member like one of my own. To always remember that even at the lowest of lows, they are human and so am I. That at the very core, I am working with them, not for them. To remember that every person has a voice that deserves to be heard, and that trust, communication and connection should be at the forefront of every office visit. | Why I entered medicine | I became a family nurse practitioner so I could provide comfort, compassion, education and hope to patients during difficult times. | Community involvement | I try to be as involved in the community as possible. I volunteer at LVHN events and at my former schools. I love to be a mentor for nursing students or nurse practitioner students. | Personal interests | I love to be outdoors, swim, cook and bike. I grew up playing soccer; you can always count me in for a quick scrimmage. I enjoy spending free time with my son, my family and friends.
