Dr. Lauren Pioppo
Overview
I am a general gastroenterologist and see patients with a wide range of digestive diseases. I also perform endoscopic procedures including endoscopy and colonoscopy. I have a particular interest in small bowel diseases, such as celiac disease and obscure gastrointestinal bleeding. I also perform specialized procedures to evaluate the small bowel including double balloon enteroscopy and capsule endoscopy. I enjoy getting to know my patients and my goal is to work together to form a comprehensive and individualized care plan that we both agree upon. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, peloton, and home projects.
