Dr. Lea Johnson earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology and immunology at the University of Miami (Florida), followed by a medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her residency in the Memorial Hermann Family Medicine Residency Program, where she was chief resident, named Pediatric Resident of the Year and received an award in behavioral medicine. Dr. Johnson treats patients from infancy through adulthood. Board certified in family medicine and obesity medicine, she also holds certificates in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support, advanced life support in obstetrics, breastfeeding and neonatal resuscitation.
