Dr. Leanne Iorio is a colorectal surgeon with the Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute. Dr. Iorio's Training Dr. Iorio earned a bachelor’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville and a Master of Medical Sciences at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She received her osteopathic medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Iorio completed a general surgery residency at Beaumont Hospital-Farmington Hills in Michigan, where she served as chief administrative resident. She completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Orlando Health Colon and Rectal Institute. About Dr. Iorio Dr. Iorio is board certified by the American Board of Surgery, and her professional memberships include the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Her research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals as well as book chapters. Outside of work, Dr. Iorio enjoys spending time with family and exercising.
