Overview
Lee Ann Ostrowski is a certified physician assistant specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She performs a wide range of services including pre-natal care, STI testing, Pap smears, pelvic exams and surveillance of breast cancer. Providing that care, she notes, helps her feel more connected to her patients on a personal level.|“I love when I have continuity with patients who seek care with me for each pregnancy or their routine gynecological care,” she says.|Ms. Ostrowski earned her physician assistant certification from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. She notes that her love of science paired with a desire to care for others led her to choose a career in medicine.|A native of the Wyoming Valley, she enjoys its mix of country, small city areas and access to larger cities within one or two hours. She’s dedicated to caring for her community.|“I’m proud to have been working locally for decades caring for generations of families,” she says. “It’s rewarding when patients seek my care because a friend or family member spoke highly of me. It’s even more rewarding when their mother says I took care of her during her pregnancy — and now I’m taking care of that same baby who is grown and expecting her own child. To know that families respect my abilities that much to entrust the care of their family members to me means so much.”|She resides locally with her husband and pet rabbit, Lily. They share two grown daughters.|In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, biking, working out, camping and taking scenic drives. “One of our favorite things to do is to take a drive and try to get lost,” she says. “We have found so many beautiful places so close to home. Taking a small detour opened up so many new experiences.”.
