Levi Shelton, MD, is a neurologist and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is co-director of the APP Development and Utilization, the director of Visiting Resident Education, and the director of Pediatric Neurology Nurse Education. He is also an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at UPMC.Dr. Shelton's interests include hospital medicine and medical education, including curriculum development. He has helped design curricula in child neurology for APPs, residents and nurses. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Child Neurology Society, and the American Epilepsy Society.
