Overview
Philosophy of care | My philosophy is treating everyone with respect and having an open dialogue as if I am working with my own family or loved ones. | Why I entered medicine | My interest in medicine started after a football injury. Working closely with medical staff throughout my recovery, I wanted to about the medical field. After exploring various paths, I decided I could help the most in palliative care – especially by communicating not just with the patient but also their family about a terminal illness. I do my best to make a difficult part of life just a little easier. | Community involvement | For several years I have volunteered for and run fundraisers to increase awareness and research in the fight against colon cancer. I have also worked at food banks, driven patients to their appointments and coached Pop Warner football. | Personal interests | I enjoy football, basketball, fishing, grilling and time with friends and family.
