He continued his education at GSW until 2005, while fulfilling his athletic scholarship playing baseball for the Hurricanes.Dr. Grahl worked for the Department of Natural Resources, and then a landscaping company before starting his teaching career. He spent three years coaching football and baseball while teaching at Peach County HS. While working, he continued to pursue his dream to enter the medical field and was accepted to Mercer University Medical School in Macon.After graduating from Mercer in 2013, Dan and his wife, Lauren, along with their son Ken, moved to Augusta for orthopedic residency. During residency, their family grew with the addition of two girls, Lila Beth and Sadie Brooke.
