My philosophy of care is to treat all patients equally, respectfully and with the aim of including them in all aspects of their care. I enter patient encounters with an open mind.|My clinical interest is in sports medicine.|Why I Love My Work|I love helping others improve the quality of their lives and giving them an opportunity to return to the activities that bring them joy.|Getting to Know Me|My interest in medicine stemmed from being a competitive gymnast growing up. We had a physician specializing in sports medicine who worked with us. I chose orthopedic surgery as my specialty because I can work with people of all ages. I enjoy the variety of the specialty, and I can use my knowledge of diagnostic imaging. Outside of work, I love to spend the summers camping, fishing and relaxing on all the lakes that Northern Minnesota has to offer!.
