Overview
Dr. Lisa Buschmann is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care to women throughout their lives. She has an interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraception management, adolescent healthcare, and broad spectrum obstetrics care.
Dr. Buschmann was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before returning to the University of Minnesota to receive her medical degree. She was excited to leave the cold and snow behind and moved to Phoenix in 2013. She completed her residency training in the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix Ob/Gyn program at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix.
The desert has now become home, and Dr. Buschmann lives in central Phoenix with her husband who is an internal medicine physician. Her interests outside of work include spending time with her daughter and energetic lab-mix Hermes, hiking, reading, and adventure travel.
